Meet Dr. Wang
Dr. Wang completed her residency in Periodontics and Dental Implants at University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. Dr. Wang received her DMD degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and practiced general dentistry prior to starting her residency in periodontics.
Before she entered the dental profession, Dr. Wang earned her Ph. D in Biomedical Science from University of Massachusetts at Amherst, focusing on cell-matrix interactions guided tissue development and function. Dr. Wang conducted research at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, focused on defining the role of phosphate regulation on development and regeneration of the dental-oral-craniofacial complex. This research created a strong desire to be directly involved in patient care.
Dr. Wang has presented and been recognized for her research and clinical cases in multiple national and international dental conferences. With years of rigorous research, clinical training and practice, Dr. Wang is passionate about patient care, and improving outcomes in the most complex cases. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wang enjoys outdoor activities, yoga and cooking gourmet food for friends and family.
